Whatever the weather, there are always opportunities for outdoor education at Clover Leys and Chellaston Fields. Outdoor education is a key part of our teaching philosophy, not only in the Early Years but across the school. Mrs Chapman is a NVQ Level 3 Qualified Practitioner. In the afternoon groups of children will study the environment and participate in learning activities.
Our children are encouraged to play and engage with one another, ensuring that their learning is supported by laughter, creativity, problem solving, PSHE and enjoyment.
Den building, team activities, orienteering, fire lighting and tool use are but some of the opportunities available.
