Early Careers Development NQT (Secondary) 2020 – 2021

Our Secondary NQT Induction Programme offers ongoing support for NQTs throughout the year with core training sessions for essential topics and electives to meet bespoke needs.

We welcome all NQTs, from the Alliance, the GSA SCITT and wider afield.

The full package includes:
• Welcome Event: Personal visioning for the year ahead and the Big Picture for the year ahead.
• Free NQT Coach Training: All NQT coaches have the chance to receive accredited coaching training at Level 1 or Level 2 on our Teacher Educator Coaching and Mentoring Programme.
• Teaching and Learning Programme: The year opens with core training sessions for those key topics which support all NQTs. The elective sessions then give participants the chance to choose options which best matches their own personal needs, reflecting both subject and phase specific needs.
• Teaching and Learning Graduation: The end of the year NQTs from across the region come together to undertake high quality training and personal development in preparation for life as an RQT.
